Our 2021 Cancellation Policy intends to take the uncertainty of COVID-19 pandemic conditions into account as much as possible. As a result, all tuition deposits are fully refundable prior to 30 days of the start of the program in question, given legitimate COVID-related travel complications (tuition deposits are not refundable for non-COVID reasons, though they are transferrable to future workshop sessions). 

We aim to be as flexible as possible regarding COVID-related cancellations after the start of the 30-day window prior to the start of a given program. However, since space in the BrazenX program is limited, and we rely on your attendance to make important arrangements and logistical preparations, cancellations after the start of this 30-day window will likely be honored by a tuition-transfer rather than a refund. We recommend that all participants purchase trip cancellation/travel insurance that covers workshop expenses and non-refundable travel costs.

The full tuition balance for all 2021 workshops is due 30 days before the start of the program in question. Receipt of this payment will confirm a program slot. Brazenist and Brooke Roberts Creative LLC reserves the right to cancel reservations for program fees that are not fully paid by this date. No refund or transfer of any fees will be made for withdrawal after the workshop begins.

The early-bird cost of the beta program is $797 for enrollments confirmed before July 15, 2021. After July 15, 2021 tuition will increase to $997.

Tuition covers classes, workshops, 1-1 coaching, welcome dinner + orientation, and farewell dinner. All other meals, accommodation, and transportation are not included. 

You're encouraged to find your own accommodation in Florence (Airbnb, Booking.com, Couchsurfing and related online services can help with this).

As detailed above, housing is not included. Insurance and airfare (usually $1000-$1,500 from North America; much less from Europe) are not included. Nor are most food expenses, which should run about $20-$80 a day. Ground transportation (including airport shuttle) is not included — but Florence is inexpensive and easy to navigate by foot, bus and tram. Tips on how to navigate cheaply in Florence are included with the course orientation.

I thought about doing it that way, but in the end I want to make this as affordable as possible for everyone who wants to attend.  

All inclusive programs typically have a big markup just for booking everything on your behalf and likely at a more luxury accommodation to satisfy the highest common denominator. 

Whether you want to book a five star hotel, a local youth hostel, or a chic Airbnb, it's up to you and your budget. You can also eat as cheaply as you'd like throughout the week as well. 

Remember, this is the beta BrazenX program and depending on how it goes, we may make it all inclusive (and much more expensive) in the future. We shall see!
